Epic Games Store Freebies: The Callisto Protocol and Gigantic Available
This week, the Epic Games Store is offering two exciting free games: The Callisto Protocol and Gigantic: Rampage Edition. Every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, Epic releases at least one free PC game, sometimes even two or three. This week’s offerings are a real treat for gamers.
The Callisto Protocol is the debut game from Striking Distance Studio and serves as a spiritual successor to Dead Space. Although it received mixed reviews initially, several patches and story-based DLC, like The Final Transmission, have refined the gameplay. Additionally, Striking Distance announced a new game set in the same universe, titled Redacted, which is set to release on October 31.
For fans of multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs), Gigantic: Rampage Edition offers vibrant, competitive action with hero-shooter influences. This version includes cross-platform play, new heroes, more maps, and various gameplay improvements. Players can choose from a diverse roster of characters, each with upgradeable abilities, and explore a variety of maps.
